I’m beyond excited about my goodies from Vannie Kaap can’t wait to break in my apron! When a fellow Capetonian rises from the ashes to establish a brand as strong as this one, it must be celebrated.
I found myself at Vannie Kaap today, determined to get closer to the brand behind the man. He crept into my heart many months ago, and I’m just so proud to be able to celebrate, along with so many others, the uniqueness of our community and our humour.
A young boy from Manenberg has a goal to build a house for his mom, and that’s the short of it. I’m already on board; just wanting to see him succeed in doing that. This guy is going to move mountains; in fact, he has already started. I think it’s apt for me to return the compliment by saying:
